In anticipation of Typhoon Melor work was canceled today. Over night and during the morning it was extremely windy with periods of rain. Around noon it cleared up to blue sky. When typhoons come through it knocks all of the pollution out of the sky. Very clear. I decided to take advantage of this, by heading up to Kamakura.
I remembered that they had opened a Starbucks Concept store last year. So that was the first stop, really neat layout for the store. Then it was to the beach. The wind was blowing hard enough that it was creating a fine mist, so in about three minutes I was covered in a fine layer of salt. Ate dinner at a Thia restaurant, went with a level two for spiciness, good call anything more it would have brought me to tears.

Great photos with the new camera, and it's good to see you in a photo too.
